Donations may be made to support the various SMHS band and color guard components, or to support individual members participating in them. The SMHS Band Booster's Inc. maintains a general fund used to support all the instrumental programs as San Marcos High School. To donate to this fund please specify "general fund" or do not specify a band or member.

Charitable donations made to the SMHS Band Boosters, Inc. are tax deductible. You may provide your donation by check, credit card, or a PayPal account.

How to donate using a credit card or PayPal account

To make a credit card donation, please use the Donate button.     When you press the donate button below, you will be directed to PayPal to accept credit card payment in a known secure environment.  Please modify the payment form provided as follows to make your donation.

PAYMENTS MADE THROUGH EITHER PAYPAL OR CREDIT CARD ARE SUBJECT TO THE SAME  3% FEE.    AS SUCH, THE FINAL PAYMET TO SMHS WILL BE LESS THIS 3% FEE.

How to specify the account to receive the donation

If you are sending a check, please write on the check (memo field if you have one) the individual or group to receive the donation. To donate to the general fund you can either write "general fund" or leave blank.

Using PayPal, in the Item section of the form that you encounter, you can enter the individual’s name or account ID number if you know it, the group you want to support, or you can either write "general fund" or leave blank to donate to the general fund. 

How to specify the amount of the donation

Enter the amount in the section labeled Unit Price, and proceed.

You will be asked for a shipping address.  We will use this to send to you your receipt with our taxpayer ID number.
